BEFORE: Euro Boxing action resumes in Leipzig where Croatian model Ivana Knoll returns to action much to the delight of the football fans and vows to put more misery into Italian hearts at the expense of veteran Elisabetta Gregoraci who replaced Alessia Uva after the latter's defeat to Clara Alonso the other week.
Ivana hoped to schedule a catchweight clash against Federica Nargi but that idea couldn't be approved on short notice as the Italian camp is still reeling after Uva's loss and they don't come in as favorites against the buxom Croatian either!
Ivana Knoll wears a trademark red & white checkered bikini set & blue gloves. Long black hair tied in a custom ponytail. Elisabetta Gregoraci wears a savoy blue bikini set & white gloves. Long black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is schedule for ten rounds in the welterweight division.
Round 1:
Elisabetta takes off with a slugging pounce and wants to set an early tone while also hurting the fellow brunette right away but she struggles to connect with the immediate punches and has Ivana rolling around on toes but also avoiding damage. The Italian pounce continues regardless and gives Elisabetta plenty of time to find that haymaker delivery while Ivana seems happy to wait out the charge and maybe tackle the older model when she gets tired. It doesn't happen in the opening round though and Gregoraci carries on with the artistic impression dominance even though Knoll eventually clinches her late in the round and sends a couple of verbal darts to trigger a low punch in the groin from the enraged opponent right at the bell.
Round 2:
More slugging tricks from Gregoraci but Ivana counters them over the top and triggers a hectic back & forth exchange in the center of the ring until she nails the older model in the nose and wobbles her onto her heels. Elisabetta tries to swing back from this inferior stance but only finds thin air and has to load up for another head-hunting series that drops her into coverage along the ropes. Ivana doesn't really move all that quick here and she allows Elisabetta to escape the heat for a while before another left/right combo smacks the Italian on the mouth and sinks her into a sudden earmuff cover. Knoll lays it into her thereafter and chops down some good hits on the midsection which make Elisabetta gurgle in discomfort in the process.
Round 3:
Ivana moves in to land a couple of punches into Elisabetta's rack but the Italian decides against following this route and smacks more leather upstairs hoping to knock the Croatian's head off. She bounces off the top of her forehead and starts leaking more body punches in short order as Knoll cashes in on her strategy and lays more leather into the exposed midsection. Elisabetta tries to stay in the close range but the pain factor eventually takes over and sends her into a hectic retreat which doesnt quite find the pace as Ivana jumps on the high-octane pounce and buries the reeling Italian on the turnbuckle anyway. Gregoraci swings back from behind the guard but only finds the Croatian's forearms and still eats a vicious double when the younger brunette splits her mitts with ease in the closing stages. Woof. Bell saves Eli from more trouble but she suddenly looks very hittable indeed.
Round 4:
Another slugging pounce from Ivana and she glues the older model to the spot which allows her to rack up more hits from close range. Elisabetta tries to respond in similar manner but she gets outworked by the more determined woman who also clips her jugs and sticks a drilling double on the solar plexus. Gregoraci slumps into loud spasms right here and opens up just enough for Knoll to SMOKE her with a heavy chin-checker that drops the Italian veteran down on her backside in the corner! Woof! Ivana struts back to the opposite corner and her work is not quite done yet as Elisabetta gets up at seven and issues a verbal tirade aimed at some of the vocal fans in the crowd. But here comes Ivana to silence the Italian dissent... she rips through the ailing high-guard and knocks Eli's head back until she bellows out into more spasms unable to halt the barrage anymore. The referee decides against stepping in to save the Azzurri pride so Ivana lays more leather until she knocks the older brunette out of her senses and Elisabetta slumps onto her knees with little spatial awareness before crumbling face down at the Croatian model's feet moments later. That's your final whistle in this bout! KO4 Ivana Knoll!!!
BEFORE: One might argue Ivana really needed this victory to make up for Croatia's football stock dwindling in the last couple of years and she's ready for more genuine boxing action in the upcoming weeks while the Italian camp remains shocked after falling to 0-2 on the BBU Euro charts. Most pundits agree that Federica Nargi should have been chosen over Gregoraci but nothing can be done about this anymore even though Ivana is open to fight the TV showgirl from Rome whenever possible. Meanwhile the focus turns to other nations as England vows to enter the Euro Boxing fray and the only problem remains the exact choice of the Three Lions representation to face the Dutch & Spanish opponents in the upcoming days!
